This better not be our big striker signing.

Not the signing I hoped we were gonna get althought tbf probably won't happen anyway. Just the same old rumour city materializing into nothing. You can't penny pinch when it comes to signing a striker who you need 25 goals from. It's just not an option

Exactly, if you skimp on a goal scorer you end up with a lame duck and you may as well not bother.

If the guy's not better than Welbeck or Giroud, what's the point.

The guy is 30 in September, Milan paid 26m for him a year ago they'd surely want more than they paid for him.

Having to adapt to the BPL at 30 is big push not worth it for someone entering their retirement years.

Never really thought very highly of him, but great mover off the ball and lethal finisher. Reckon Özil and him would love playing with each other. A poacher who upped overall game after moving to a better league from Bruges.

Basically Javier Hernandez with some additional technique and presence.
