We aren't getting Madness, Laca or any other better options.
Milan did accept a 26m bid for him earlier this window from West Ham. Bacca didn't want to move cause no CL.
That earlier in the window now with Arsenal interested this late in the window we are looking at 35M+ not worth it for someone who's 30 next month.
Who cares how old he is. Paying £35m+ for a striker who can do the business for a couple of years is worth it, that gives us a few years to look for a world class youngster to replace him.
I agree with PG.
Who are the better younger strikers, who we could realistically get? Better have Bacca for 2-3 seasons than have only Giroud upfront.
Hernandez, Barbosa and Bony would cost around the same if not less.

Carlos Bacca has reportedly emerged as a target for Arsenal, but they face competition for the Colombia international.
AC Milan's hitman came close to leaving the San Siro last summer and has long been linked with the Gunners.
And according to France Football, the 30-year-old is a target for Arsene Wenger, who is set to bolster his frontline.
However, Marseille have entered the race for Bacca, and Arsenal would have to match their £3.5m-a-year offer.
Milan are ready to sell for £17.5m, but plenty of clubs are expected to challenge for the striker's signature.
