Virgil van Dijk seems like a more sensible option.

No thanks to both. Had great seasons, sure. But they're way too old. Imagine if they have trouble adjusting their first season here and don't start performing until the start of their second season, they'll both be around 33 years old. All while hoping their bodies don't regress during that time.

Benatia will do fine, although I'm skeptical about his injury record.

If he can perform how he did in Italy then great.

At Bayern he's been shit. Granted can't help having a shit manager which he'll have here and a shit partner at CB in Boateng which he'll also have here in kos.

Signs don't look good

Theres a lot of bullshit being thrown around in football and a huge amount of dogmas being destroyed.

The whole reason Huth and Morgan have been so good is because they are men, not boys.

As Zlatan has showed being 33-34 years old is only relative to the players injury record.

We should be seeing huge amount of late developers and players in the region of ages 30-45, with 'modern technology' people who keep their bodies healthy should be able not just to play high class football but excel in doing so.

Players hitting their peak at 26 is a dogma, a myth! Its all about when the player starts and then from there he will last for around 11-15 years

"Modern Technology" eg. PED's.

Nah for real watch Morgan and Huth get taken apart in the CL next year. Hats off to them they've done something special but don't dare put them down as Arsenal quality.

Benatia is 29 with a poor injury record. How is that any better?

I don't want any if them. I prefer we sign a younger player. Would love to sign van dijk

My friend we are going to see some very serious amounts of volitility in regards to players and how good they really are in football.

Wes and Huth are not special players at all. They are just solid. But this is the whole point.

Its harder than ever to see real quality, Its all about how well we coach them and how mature they are.
