Honestly think I'd rather more aggressive attacking mids or CM's.

Sick of all this passing around for 5mins just to skip it out wide for a low success ratio cross.

Waste of fkin time.

We need players with an eye for a pass, I have no problem with us pursuing him. We need guile, can't just be meat and two veg attacks.

Personally think we have the players within our youth just need to back them

After missing out on Buendia, Arsenal's main target remains bringing Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard, 22, back from Real Madrid, either on a loan or permanent move. (Football London)

Would be underwhelming as the attacking signing imo

We've already seen what he can do and its nothing great nor will it lead to spectacular things imo

We need something fresh.

After failing to agree an option to buy last year allegedly we're now willing to give him another year's experience at our cost, or pay a stupid price to sign him ... we couldn't have handled this any worse if we'd tried.

Agree.
Wasting time and potentially money on a player that looked decidedly average.

Agreed.

One of the things I don't like about a player like Odegaard compared to an ESR or Buendia type is Odegaard slows up play, takes too many touches and looking around of this picture perfect pass, the other two tend to run at defenses more and then slip a through ball or pass in off making those runs.

Extremely depressing if Zidane left and we still somehow forked over £50m for him. He and Arteta both get along, so I could see this happening.
