I always remember players from youth tournaments.

2006 under 16 european championship won by spain vs england in the final. Bojan who was supposed to be the next Messi along with fran merida.

Star of the tournqment was some 15 year old dude called eden hazard. Belgium where crap but he was head shoulders and knees above every single player in the tournament. Guy was running riot.

Then you get under 19 toulon meetings where I first saw a 17 juan mata.

I love it.

Podolski is wasting away, just like Campbell and Gnabry, we don't need to replace Poldi.

River Plate attacker Juan Quintero is the subject of interest from Arsenal and Tottenham, according to Don Balon.

Both Premier League clubs are set to send scouts over to South America to watch the Columbian play in the Copa Libertadores final this weekend against Boca Juniors.

Real Madrid are also interested, but Spurs may have the edge as compatriot Davinson Sanchez has already offered Quintero a glowing reference.

River Plate midfielder Juan Quintero is being monitored by Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham, with the January transfer window less than a month away.

The Colombian midfielder is also on Real Madrid and Valencia's radar after his impressive performances at both club and international level in 2018, according to Don Balon.

Spurs and Arsenal could go head to head for his signature in the new year, as both clubs look to bring in attacking reinforcements heading into the second half of the season.

Man City plot move for €20m Real Madrid target Quintero

Arsenal and Tottenham also following River Plate star

Manchester City are set to battle Real Madrid and Arsenal for River Plate star Juan Quintero, says Don Balon.

Madrid are said to have been following the 25-year-old Colombia international for months, while Arsenal and Tottenham are also interested.

But the midfielder has emerged as a candidate for City, as they look for someone to provide cover for Kevin De Bruyne and could match River Plate's €20 million (£18m/$23m) asking price.
