Heard about this and heard especially about WHU and David Gold crying. They have offered him a contract extension. I would take a punt, wouldn't say it was Wenger's decision to call though, we need to know what's coming through.

Arsene Wenger has sent Arsenal scouts to watch West Ham's 15-year-old sensation Reece Oxford. The Gunners boss had the teenager, likened to Rio Ferdinand, appraised in the Hammers' Under-21 victory over Sunderland.

As if we have all become even more alert than we were to the situation because time has past and nothing has happened.

It's an inch of column and the writer couldn't even bother to use a cliche that fits.
