I thought he was terrific. Stunned he's only 16. And yes, he has the potential to be a Vieira type player. Would rather spend 8MM on him than 15MM on chambers or ox.

Oxford was built up by West Ham fans on a nothing performance yet they claimed "Oxford had Ozil in his pocket" but the kid made 2-3 tackles the whole game.

Hope he flops.

Whole team was awful that game.

He was DM in a team sitting deep then just kicking it and rushing, he always had 2-3 west ham players within five-ten yards of him.

After that opening game match they played him against Leicester(strikers who actually run) where he was at fault for both goals since then he has 14 minutes of game time, still amazing for a 16 year old.

I did not...dont lie. But for a 16 year old he was impressive, even though he didnt do that much. But he has excelled in Englands youth teams and captained West Ham U21.....that says more than the one match he had against us. Also both us and United tried to sign him when he was 13.....so his talents has been known for a while
