Yup, losing Wilshere on free (while we could get an english overpriced 30m for him) would feel much better if we got a free replacement at least.

Bayern already getting goretzka for free in the Summer of Schalke, surely they won't go for meyer too. We should get this guy and sell ramsey

different players tho, even tho they can play the same roles, Meyer is more in the Wilshere role, Goretzka is a dlp or b2b style quick and strong.

Mayer is a Advanced playmaker and more skillful/lightweight.

Said it before. Midfield needs a complete overhaul. Ship out Ramsey and Wilshere. Get Meyer and Jankto and find a good defensive midfield specialist from somewhere.
