Herrera-Dier midfield would be fitting for Mourinhos team tbh.

midfielders getting kicked all over the place.

f***ing lol. Mourinho is literally fulfilling the rich pulis meme at man u.

Build a team of giants, instruct them to kick shit out of everyone.

Bask in the glory of the man u protection clause in the refs association rule book.

Rant about how everyone is against them.

If system's the problem, fear not for 6-3-1 will open at the Theater of Dreams. Coming this August.

If they face anyone in the top half of the table, it's going to be the fabled 8-1-1 formation.

Fellaini behind lukaku then everyone else at the their 18 yard line to form an inpenetrable human shield by linking arms and staring down the opposition, while chanting THOU SHALT NOT PASS.

All this bar lindelof, who has been brought in specificallly to stand next to de gea at all times to add protection to the left hand side of goal. This frees up de gea to protect the entire right hand side of goal.

If times get tough and they somehow concede, mou will swap out fellaini for Rashford. Marcus takes up a permanent position on the penalty spot by physically laying on it for the remainder of the game to make the refs life easier when giving the world's first two goal point penalty (contact desirable, but not required).

Man u will simultaneously become the 2nd team to achieve an unbeaten season in the PL, while also being relegated due to missing the magic 40 point marker by virtue of achieving 38 no score draws.

Each 0-0 draw will be celebrated relentlessly by endless pundits and assorted media, plus a new thread on GW per result from cripps and schland. They will be the only two members posting in each others threads.

The biggest benefit will be for the viewers. Record levels of fully rested workers who watched the first 10 minutes of any game involving man u, before going into a coma like slumber at old Trafford and on millions of sofas we will witness productivity increase exponentially across the UK workforce due to this unique method of sleep hypnosis.

Mourinho will be knighted and given the title of 'the baby whisperer' due to his elite talent of coaxing newborns into a rigid sleep pattern within 90 minutes + extra time.

He will be bestowed vast lands in a former industrial park in Salford, which will be repurposed as a storage depot for decommissioned buses and coaches.

Mou will call it a day after this achievement and seek a new path towards being forced to sleep on the top deck.

Each 0-0 draw will be celebrated relentlessly by endless pundits and assorted media.

Or put another way .... even with a squad of so called 'shit' players Poch can still manage the arse out of Wonger and finish 11 points above him .....

Or from a financial viewpoint .... Spuds can buy a player for 4m and sell for 50m .... Wonger buys for 17m and doesn't even play him ... remember the net spend over the last 5 years - Arsenal -250m versus Spuds 13m profit ....

http://www.transferleague.co.uk/premier-league-last-five-seasons/transfer-league-tables/premier-league-table-last-five-seasons

The fact is Dier would walk into our team at CD or DM ..... if you don't recognise that then your clueless ....

Take of the rose tinted glasses .... he's not shit .... neither is Lukaku .... despite what we might wish to be true ......

As with Lukaku, Dier is a player who would add massively to our squad .... who cares about the price .... weakens Spuds and strengthens us .... buy him .....

All the above doesn't change the fact that Eric dier is a poor footballer. He has size on his side and the ability to get away with horror challenges every other match but other than that, he is severely limited.

Mario balotelli scored goals in a title winning city side that destroyed us over the course of a season.

Guess we should wack down 60m on him.

For a guy who spends most of his time complaining about the state of the club on the forum, I can't for the life of me understand why you'd want us to saddle ourselves with dead wood.

You'd probably be one of the first to stick the boot in when we signed him and everyone realises he should have stuck with being a bailiff because he would actually be good at it.

He's a Spud I get that .... but he's a big step up from what we have .... is he the best CD / CDM out there? no of course not but he's was arguably in the top five in the EPL last season ....

http://www.football365.com/news/top-10-defensive-midfielders-of-the-season

The whole point of a transfer window is to buy better than you have .... name our three CD's or two CDM's who are better than Dier (remember he's still only 23 so good for 8 years with a high resale value)

Same logic goes for Lukaku ..... he's better than Walnut and Welbeast he's available, so feckin' buy him or at the very least make the effort ......

It's all well and good saying 'look how stupid Utd/City/Barca/PSG/Bayern/RM/Chelsea are for paying silly money' .... but then remember that they all play under the same financial rules we do, and we're the 7th richest club in the world ....

Leaving 200m in the bank and finishing 5th .... is that something you want to be celebrating again come the end of next season ???????

When better players than yours are available buy them .... works for Conte, Pep, Mourinho .... managers who have set transfer records year in year out AND have a cabinet full of TITLES to prove them right .....

If we spend 200m and still fail, then sobeit .... if we sit back and laugh at others trying and still don't win anything .... that just makes us look stupid .... if in doubt check the last decade for EPL and CL winners .......

EK do u actually watch football

Eric Dier is a garbage footballer. He's the third best centre mid in Spurs' team and the third best centre half in there too

He doesn't tackle or intercept. An average passer and is average in the air.

He is essentially their version of Coquelin when he hits a bit of form next to Santi, fits the mould well in Poch's system but that doesn't change the fact he's average

You wouldn't want us to sign Victor Moses would you?

There was a mix. Vieira, petit, Campbell, were artists mixed with power. Even Adams had some proper ball playing finesse. The glaring difference was that they had extreme talent. Eric dier is completely devoid of it.

Mou is buying low technical ability high physical ability giants in the thought that he can bus park his way to a title like he has done so many times before.

His main issue, like the ill fated Chelsea season, is that if he drops behind the pack early, he has to spend the rest of the season trying to play attacking football which causes him to fail and players like dier won't help that at all.

Trying to engage in signing a pubber from our most hated rival is probably the worst way we could think of spending our time and resources this window, dier would be the last target we should be looking at.

There's plenty more tall strong dms/cbs that can actually play football we could sign for half the price.

Also we really need reinforcements in other positions than where he would play. Finally, all those stats you pulled up about poch and spurs performances will be destroyed this season in any case. We will finish above them this season with more silverware and or points. And the poch love will relax somewhat.
