Arsenal and Chelsea would be ready to bid for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, 23, if he asks to leave the Bernabeu. (Don Balon - in Spanish)

Apparently Chelsea have agreed a fee of around £58m with Real, every ones reporting it, think its a done deal.

Could it be that Arsenal have a better striker in Lacazette?

If so that's the first time in years regarding Chelsea.

I am not gonna do a poll but if anyone of you had the choice of the two which one would you prefer? Morata or Lacazette?

Morata is more rounded player, more versatile, is much better in the air and has more of a presence up front [1.89m]. For a big lad he is quick and can finish.

Lacazette is a fox in the box who is quick to pounce on anything loose, has better link up play and is relatively more clinical in finishing. [ Yes i that is based on whatever little i have seen of him on internet]

Take my Arsenal hat off i would take Morata any day because of the variety he has to his play, especially in the premership where physicality is an important factor. He can play the target man or he can be that pacy option. Football is all about options because sometimes you need to switch tactics on the fly and there are only 3 substitutions you are allowed to make

Something we never have to worry about under Wenger.

If you put me on the spot right now I'm taking Lacazette > Morata.

......... and that's not even looking through AFC rose tinted glasses.
