Best Brazilian player out there although that's not saying much

The only Brazil player who didn't look completely lost yesterday. Yes he's weak, but so are Mata, Santi, Coutinho etc and they've coped well with the physicality in England. His technical ability, dribbling, pace and agility make up for all of that imo. On top of that he's a good passer and has a very decent final ball. Personally I rate Bernard much higher than Coutinho and wouldn't mind him in case Pod/Caz leave. Height prejudices, still so common in the world of football.

Yay Bernard :)
Hopefully we can get him a bit cheaper than what Shakthar paid for him.
I've read somewhere that players that play in a unstable country (like Ukraine) can file a request with the FIFA which can make it a lot easier and cheaper to get him.
Bernard could be the next big thing I believe, great pace and technique!

He's not a striker though, and we just got Sanchez.

Might be true but not sure we need yet another player in this vein.

Barnard - Sanchez - Walcott

i think we lack pace

but yeah either santi or podolski would leave for this to happen

If we're getting Sanchez then any other attacking purchase should be an out-and-out striker.

im a fan but we dont need him now, i wanted him last summer but if sanchez is going to be our main striker, i'd like a winger with better attacking instincts like griezmann. Off the ball movement is my new obsession lol, bernards would come to the ball a bit like santi.

Plus a left footer on the wings other than podolski would be nice

Griezmann pumping seems to be the latest fad here.

I'd prefer him massively over Bernard.

rich coming from you tbf

anyway griezmann is being pumped because he has attributes that we need in our play, good linkup, movement, and finishing.

If it were up to me, I don't want either. We've already signed a world class attacker who can play anywhere on the front line. We don't need another winger. We need a striker. So, no to both Bernard and Griezmann.
