What's amazing is that there is NO SIGN of us showing genuine interest in any player, or any tinge of hint that we are looking to go for quality players...

As usual, Wenger waiting until deadline...

Arsenal are planning two defensive signings, with Manchester City centre-back Jason Denayer, 21, and Borussia Dortmund's Matthias Ginter, 22, the targets. (Sun)

Any good?

Was he in the German squad this summer? Can't be that good if he can't get ahead of the atrocious Boateng.

Also 2 years in and angelitos post above this one still holds.

Premier League clubs send scouts to watch defender

Tottenham and Arsenal are keeping an eye on Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter, Sky Sports reports.

Both clubs are looking to enhance their defensive options, with Arsenal suffering injuries at the back and Spurs unsure about the long-term future of some of their centre-backs.

Germany international Ginter has been highlighted as a potential option for both teams and they are already scouting the 25-year-old, whose contract expires in 2021.

Inter have set their sights on Borussia Monchengladbach's Matthias Ginter, according to Sky Sport in Germany.

The Italian side need a replacement for Diego Godin and see him as an ideal candidate, but face competition from Chelsea and Arsenal.
