Even though we're a shitshow, I still stand by my original position: fück Cesc.

When the problem is the manager, no individual player here can take us to another level.

We could still have had Cesc playing for us for 3 seasons instead of footing the bill for Welbeck and Chambers who haven't done jack shit for us.

His goal at Old Trafford in the FA Cup was worth it tbh

That's what Wenger's relied on in the past 5 years. Outstanding season from individuals to carry him

Carry him to what? I'm pretty sure these guys want Cesc to return so that we challenge for the title - not top-4.

Either way, in previous seasons, Wenger didn't tamper with the position of his best players as he has with Alexis this season. Who in the right mind would play Danny over Alexis as a CF?

Plus Danny is a good LM who would have provided a lot more protection for Monreal who was getting slaughtered all night.

Is there anyone who has not been missing the football we played during Cesc era?

We were everyones second favorite team, People actually enjoyed to watch us back then with players who had technique and brain like Nasri, Cesc, RVP, Rosicky, Arshavin. Cesc was the maestro.

TBF we haf plenty of performances like tonight against lesser Allardyce teams (replace zaha and benteke with nolan and davies) whilst cesc was with us.

Stuff cesc, i want vieira type warriors in midfield, i'm fed up with lightweight 'technical' players who disappear at the first sign of a battle!

We need a system and then we need players who fit that system. When we do not have a system it does not matter who plays.

About to turn 30 in a week or so. Beating Giggs' record is definitely possible.

I doubt it.

He is basically legless at this point and will only get worse. He won't be able to last long enough in the PL.

How man apps. does he currently have?

Anyone see the bit where he had 10 yards on a Southampton player and he still didn't get to the ball first?

That fridge has destroyed him

307.

I don't think he's as legless as people make out. Obviously he's lost a bit of pace but he's never relied on that and he still gets about. His vision and ability on the ball could keep him playing for 3-4 more years in the PL if he decides too.

I can see him playing for PSG or Milan though.
