Do Not Want

We have Wilshere, Cazorla and Rosicky all arguably better than him.

Arsenal ready to battle Manchester United for unsettled Real Madrid star Luka Modric
ARSENAL look set to join the race for Real Madrid's unsettled star Luka Modric.

Sources in Spain suggest the 27-year-old has become a transfer target for Arsene Wenger, who has failed to land a big summer signing thus far. The Gunners have already missed out on Gonzalo Higuain and look set to be beaten to exciting Brazilian starlet Bernard by Portuguese outfit Porto. David Moyes meanwhile, is still actively seeking to strengthen the creative options in the Old Trafford side, having lost out on exciting Barcelona prospect Thiago Alcantara to Bayern Munich. The former Tottenham midfielder was on the new Manchester United manager’s original list of targets – before Moyes made Cesc Fabregas his top priority. And United have already had offers of £26m and £30m rejected by the Spanish giants, who remain adamant that Fabregas is going nowhere. Modric is said to be feeling unsettled at the La Liga giants, having been reduced to a bit part role under the reign of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho. The Croatian international first joined the Spanish side from Spurs for £33m in 2012, scoring three goals in 33 appearances.

Please no! We do need an AM, not Modric though.

I wouldn't say no for £20-25m or so. Great player and would piss off the Spuds.

Would snap him up, guy makes premier league defenders look like amateurs.

Not sure the story has any legs though.

Although I'm okay with him I think we should watch Fabregas' situation for one last summer. Granted not happening but you never know. Plus, I agree that he's not exactly what we need.

Yeah agree, although I wouldn't complain if we did sign him. (Obviously we won't but hypothetically speaking...)

We do need another AM, don't know why people keep banking on Rosicky to be injury free a whole season. But for the price Modric would go for I'd rather have someone like Bernard who can play on the wings as well.
