Arda Turan has no interest in joining Arsenal this summer. Arsene Wenger has been a long-standing admirer of Barcelona's Turkish midfielder, whose opportunities have been limited since arriving at Camp Nou from Atletico Madrid in 2015.

Now 30, Turan has struggled to impress and has been tipped to leave, with Wenger ready to offer him a lifeline.

The Frenchman has over £150million at his disposal this summer and had identified Turan as a key target ahead of a renewed title challenge next term.

But speaking to Turkish media on Monday, Turan's agent Ahmet Bulut, says he is happy to remain in Catalunya.

"Arda is not going anywhere. Barcelona's directors are happy with him," said Bulut.

"We haven't spoken to any club about a transfer. The stories that have come out in the media that he will be leaving have annoyed Arda. And nor has it gone down well with board members at the club; Arda Turan will see out his contract.
