we will not sign anyone of note. Turan is nothing speical....but even then I know we wont sign him. But hey its my moaning thats stopping deals from happening. ~You guys are really naive and cant see whats going on. Arsenal will make alot of bids coming 3 days as they know massive criticism is waiting for them. So atleast they will try to look busy. So expect alot of names now to end of the window and somehow none of them come off. Then hear the morons say hey atleast they tried :rofll:

Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan wants to move to England and play for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, according to the player's agent.

The Turkey international is an important part of the Atletico Madrid team who are challenging for the Primera Division title in Spain and on the verge of the Champions League quarter-finals.

He has been linked with the Gunners, Manchester United and Liverpool in the past but, although a move to England is on the agenda, he does not yet want to leave Madrid.

"He is interested in working under Arsene Wenger and Arda would like to play in England," Ahmet Bulut is quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.

He can play on both wings, can't he?

Would prefer Griezmann but wouldn't complain if we got him.

Agent said the same last summer. His contract is running down and he wants more money. Very good player but now we have Ozil we have no need for him.

He has impressed me everytime I've seen him play but we don't need a player like him.

Players like him and Bernard are the type of players we would look into which means this club never learn its leson. Our obsession with small playmakers is unhealthy

It's tabloid nonsense, and you only choose to believe the ones that make the club look bad.

wilshere, ramsey, cazorla, ozil, rosicky. Wenger loves his playmakers playing all over the field. Hell he converted Arteta to defensive midfielder when he really is not. Even Fergie said in the past Wenger buy players who are similar

Hang on... weren't you huffing and puffing at Wenger for signing players who are too tall because they are "big slow lumps"?

Callum is right. You were delighted when we signed Ozil and were recommending players such as Di Maria, Lamela, Thauvin and Willian? You were also one of the ones wanting Bernard to join us... Every post you make literally contradicts the previous one. Biggest hypocrite I have ever met.

Willian/Di Maria and maybe Lamela are in a different mould to Bernard/Turan
