Arda Turan

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Heard of him but never seen him play. Never like it when agents talk about new challenges etc. It sounds to me that they persuade players to move to make money, they may do it again once they've been with us a few years.
Invincibility lies in the defence; the possibility of victory in the attack.

Good player can be used as a LM or as a CAM - not the quickest/paciest but an excellent dribbler, good passer and makes the right decisions - just a very clever player. Would be a major asset to our team.

Arda* by the way ;)

Never been fully convinced by him. Good player, but don't think he's good enough for us.

Still better than any other single wing option we currently have, apart from Caz.

He's talented but he's not top top quality, special player. Every other contender's key attacking midfielders are better than him. I can't say he's mediocre talent, more than that of course but not enough to compete for higher spots. Since we are not even trying it, I can totally see a move for him.

By the way I can't remember a good Fenerbahçe game from him. Those Galatasaray teams were afwul but I don't trust him at big games. He played great with Atletico in two finals but still not sure.

He's the real deal.Extremely underrated. He is highly influencial in athletico's attack, literally runs it.That 'special thing' that arsene talks about,Arda has it in spades.Insane skill and strong as fvck, vision, defensive input,he has it all except pace.Would be a massive coup.

Big Arda fan, as being Turkish Galatasary was naturally my 2nd team after arsenal. Was not happy he left but don't think he would suite arsenal at all. Would love to see a Turk at arsenal but not going to happen.

We surely can't be in for both Lopez and Arda. Lopez is the one we are most likely in for.

Atletico Madrid does not want to sell Arda [Turan]. However, if his €24m minimum-fee release clause is activated then they will have to listen to offers, A transfer to the Premier League is likely. There are a few clubs interested. Liverpool is one and Arsenal another. There have been no concrete offers but two clubs have spoken about wages

Can someone fix his topic name?

Apparently not.

Would take in a heart beat and not just because of the current squad crisis

Agreed he's been quality for awhile now. His buyout clause isn't even that ridiculous in today's market.
