Giampaolo wants AC Milan to sign Praet and Anderse, but they are aware of Arsenals interest in the duo. The 50 million price tag is also a stumbling block for AC Milan. Milan will try to do a cash+player swap deal or try to sell players to get the money. -

According to @pbsportswriter Arsenal insist they have not made any bids for Sampdoria’s Praet & Andersen. And Arsenal not impressed by figure of £44m quoted by the Italian club who are not in a hurry to sell and want to appoint a manager first

As meh as this guy sounds, I think Emery sees him as a cheapo box to box, he played box to box for Anderlecht and was rated one of the best young midfielders in the world, then Sampdoria signed him and played him in a deep lying playmaker role so he can't charge forward, there could be some potential in this gamble.

But yeah, meh. lol would much rather have Nkunku, mainly because hes younger and always plays that role.

Not true. Praet played 95% of his games for Anderlecht either as CAM or as wide play-maker in a similar role to David Silva's for City. It wasn't until his move to Sampdoria that he started playing as a CM on a consistent basis.

This bit certainly is true. Praet had Cesc-esque maturity and vision at age 17/18, became one of Anderlecht's key players, but, whilst still remaining a key figure, he did stagnate in the years that followed.

Kind of lost track of him since his move to Sampdoria, though.

Ah i just read that he had played b2b, plus i remember using him and Tielemans on FM years ago as CMs, i didn't actually watch him back then, i know he used to score a lot and now and Samp he doesen't score at all.

He kinda sounds like another Denis Suarez.

Very worried about this link. The guy is kind of a nothing player imo. Not quite a number 10 not quite B2B, no overwhelming physical attributes, coming into the middle of his career with no indication he's about to hit another level. Also the issue of Seria A into PL transition. I would avoid this deal. A xhaka, torriera, Praet midfield is no improvement and would in fact look bang average once again. May as well go all in on Guendouz if this is what we can attract.
