My point is if the guy will improve us then paying a bit over the odds dosent matter. Bale isn't worth what Madrid paid, but he won two trophies for them. I am not saying do a Andy Carroll of course the player has to be able to benefit us.

I can't see any reason why Lewandowski would go.
Benzema might leave Madrid if they get Aguero. Unlikely though.

City would be in for him straight away. They aren't as dumb as spurs (ozil) or liverpool (sanchez) to not even enquire about his services.
