Means coq or Elneny are gone which is good, a 3 man midfield of him xhaka and Ramsey is balanced albeit pretty slow. Need more dynamism

Assuming this is true, I can’t help but feel that this it is coming out because of Mustafi and even though I think he’d compliment Xhaka nicely (in another league), I agree that pace will still be a problem. We’d need a new Xhaka imo but quicker, smarter, stronger, and a better dribbler

Think this would be good, we need a good CM and N'zonzi has potential here.

I dont think wenger will ever admit xhaka is a failure.....thats the thing when there is zero pressure to produce result. You are not gonna bust your balls to sign a better player than you have. Wenger also doesnt believe in january window. I hope xhaka gets injured....only chance we sign him

Better than Xhaka although not saying much but more importantly millions times the player he was when he was that atrocity at Blackburn.

I dissapointed with Xhaka, i expected him to be better defensive guy than Arteta but seems like there isnt much diffrence and Arteta was sharper passing wise. Nzonzi will offer more defensive quality. Would be improvement. Would rather have Fabinho but hes out of our reach.

Good news, if true.
Could this mean that Wenger is going to give up on Xhaka?

mirror has a history of going out on limbs with transfer only so they can keep reminding people the date they broke this story. They are a worse source than even Goal imo

Doubt it. If anything, and assuming the report is true, Wenger's probably going to give up on the 3-4-2-1 formation

Would be great if Wenger started playing 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2. It's most suited to our current squad (also true with the addition of Nzonzy). Two of Ramsey, Xhaka and Wilshere could play beside Nzonzy.
Our problems are still much deeper imo. Our CBs aren't good enough. Our goalkeeper situation is a mess. Bellerin needs better competition. We need better backups for Ozil and Alexis (Lucas would habe been perfect )

Debuchy actually looked good the other night, he always was good just had a bad injury run, he's competition enough for Bellerin.

But yeah every time we've switched to 4-3-3 recently we've straight away looked better.

In 3-4-3 our defenders have the ball too much.

£35m for a 28-year-old - paid by Arsenal?

Oh come on.

His release clause is £37m so apparently the club has allowed a £35m bid.

In today's market nothing surprises me.
