Ah they're just in a bit of a strop :P

They don't understand that we can't buy young players and get experience in. Cutting off the nose to spite the face.

It was fun.

That's it mate. You need proven players right now and also ones for the future. It just seems it's the latter rather than both for you most of the time.

I do think you will miss out on Powell though. There are a lot more teams closer to home which may sway him to stay up here. There is also the possibility of a bidding war which Wenger probably won't get involved in. If he were to come, you'd have to get in, do the deal, get out and f**k off home before they realised it happened. ;)

To be fair we've payed top money for Walcott and Chamberlain, so Wenger has a history of spending big on youngsters. I think he's got enough at the moment to cover him though.

Was watching that game and it was the first time I saw him, that goal lived up to the hype.

Maybe this is because our interest in him went literally no further than an enquiry? Therefore there was almost no noise about him and us almost anywhere.

Not to mention he practically hinted himself after visiting our facilities and theirs, that he was going there a while back...

No I'm not insinuating the facilities did it for him, just making a point - He was practically tweeting about it a lot. His last tweet was quite ledge though. He deleted it now, but it was something along the lines of

Oh my God, last tweet wasn't even about Football. I don't want to sound like that Hazard bloke #awkward

Oh well. He is more of a future player. Whereas we have to focus on this upcoming season. He would not have helped that one bit. So never mind.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

Well... looks like not signing him was a good decision, lots of hype but he never really took off.

Like most of the players I thought would become wonderkids.

Eisfeld and Bischoff were the new Kaka and Zidane.

Lol.
