I do think you will miss out on Powell though. There are a lot more teams closer to home which may sway him to stay up here. There is also the possibility of a bidding war which Wenger probably won't get involved in. If he were to come, you'd have to get in, do the deal, get out and f**k off home before they realised it happened.

To be fair we've payed top money for Walcott and Chamberlain, so Wenger has a history of spending big on youngsters. I think he's got enough at the moment to cover him though.

Maybe this is because our interest in him went literally no further than an enquiry? Therefore there was almost no noise about him and us almost anywhere.
