Doubt Roma would accept a £50m offer tbh

Best keeper in Italy this season and Pallotta is basically another De Laurentiis

We should get Fahrmann from Schalke contract runs out in 2020 and Shalke players are always cheap with two year left to run on his contract they'd sell him to us for 10M or less easily, plus he's only 29 which is a good age for goalkeepers.

Wolves are readying a £35 million bid for Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland, reports The Express.

The England international has been mooted as a summer target for Arsenal and Liverpool, but a Premier League new boy is ready to join the chase.

If Wolves get him and we don't, dear god

They can have him for that price seeing as that money could get as a world class proven GK like Alisson

I don't know if Butland is a good enough replacement for Cech imo, as a 2nd choice to a better keeper maybe, the only real plus is he is home grown and we are thin in that department (but so is Emi Martinez who might be 2nd choice next season)

i just don't like the sound of signing a goal keeper from a pretty close to being relegated team, and on top of that linked with a defender from a relegated team, we are trying to improve, not hit mid table.

On this day in 1987
Qpr lost 7-1 at Sheffield Wednesday
Finishing 16 th in the 1st division
Their goalkeeper that day David seaman went on to win 3 league titles, 4 fa cups ,a league cup & a cup winners cup with arsenal

I don't think he's overrated.

He has PL experience, and is a very good keeper. I'd take him tomorrow.

Cut price deal due to relegation or many domestic teams competing for his price, bumping up his asking price beyond what is generally considered as reasonable?

Wouldn't mind him at all for a feasible price as in ~£15-25m.

I'm not saying he's bad but he's been playing for years now and he's never had a standout season has he?

I think there's better quality available in Germany
