wants a new challenge and we really should try and tempt him to see if he would even consider it.

guy literally controlled midfield with goretzka.

If it’s been him and Cabellos I’d rather cabellos and yes I know Thiago is better but I’m thinking about the long run, Thiago is 29 (30 next year) Injury prone (30 games is the most he’s managed in a season), better to invest in Dani who would last us for a good 10 years and has sell on value.

Yep, agreed depending on the price. We can't keep signing old players but if we can get Thiago anywhere near to 20m I'd do it.

Ceballos at 30m would probably maintain his value even if he's not that great though.

I'd take him in a heartbeat the control and passing range alone would make us top 4 . Auba would be very happy as well

And he's guaranteed to click. Thiago is a good player, but not EPL tested. I'm not sure if he can carry our midfield.

I'd be surprised if Man City were not in for him.

Guardiola took him to Bayern.

Wrong age bracket for me, given our situation it would be a false economy, we need to sign players that have resale value so we can recoup something rather than having to replace then in a few years with little or no money from losing them.

Would he choose to downgrade from CL to EL? Seems like a long shot to me.

The only thing that might attract him to us are the club's facilities and the fact that it's in London.

I understand his wife is a fashion enthusiast. Not much in Liverpool in that regard.

Fashion in LIverpool is stealing socks drying on lines and hoping they match.

Too old.
The £27m reported is reasonable as a transfer fee as he only has a year left on his contract , but with wages on top, this would be a big mistake by Liverpool.
Certainly don't want him at Arsenal.
