Marouane Fellaini

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Marouane Fellaini

Can't see this one but, I've always liked him as a player. Can play different roles too. And has his fair share of injuries. Would've been a typical AW signing.

Arsenal Set Sights on £15m Rated Belgian Midfield Star

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's search for a midfielder in the summer transfer window has stepped up a gear with Everton's Marouane Fellaini on the Frenchman's wish-list.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's search for a midfielder in the summer transfer window has stepped up a gear with Everton's Marouane Fellaini on the Frenchman's wish-list.

Fellaini has been a key member of the Everton squad ever since his £15milion move from Standard Liege in 2008.

Before signing for the Toffees the 23-year-old was being linked with moves to European giants, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

However with Gunners skipper Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri are set to lead an exodus at the Emirates - Wenger is keen to bring in a midfield enforcer and has been linked with moves for West Ham's Scott Parker and Newcastle's Joey Barton in recent weeks.

However Fellaini's latest comments have put Arsenal on red alert, as they look to push for a title challenge next season.

Speaking to 7sur7, the Belgian international said: "One thing is certain, I want to play in a team that wins trophies and play in the Champions League. Everton is a team of sub-top."

Fellaini is currently on the side-lines recovering from an ankle injury he picked up against Chelsea in February, that ended his season prematurely.

However last season Fellaini made 25 appearances for the Goodison Park club and scored three goals as Everton finished seventh in the Premier League last term.

I would love Fellaini at Arsenal. A proper threat from set pieces, an intimidating presence in the middle of the pitch, and a decent player with the football. His injury record isn't great; nor is his disciplinary record.

If we push Diaby or Denilson out (or even both), i'd love to get Fellaini in. Make it happen Wenger.

The only proven winner in red and white at this club? Arsene Wenger. Sack the board.

He will be a great signing for us for impact, and can do the Giroud job in the last 10 mins.
