Arsenal plot shock second raid on Chelsea! £8.5m bid submitted

Musonda, 19, was a target for the Gunners when he was a youngster in Anderlecht's academy.

However, he snubbed a move to the Emirates of in favour of a switch to Stamford Bridge.

The Zambian born Belgian Under-21 international has failed to make a first-team appearance for the Blues and has spent the majority of his time at Stamford Bridge playing in the Premier League champion's youth teams.

And according to reports, the midfielder's lack of first-team football has prompted Gunners chief Arsene Wenger to make a move for the talented youngster.

Foot Mercato claim the Frenchman has submitted an £8.5m bid for the midfielder, who played an integral role in the Blues' UEFA Youth League and FA Youth cup triumphs.

Musonda, who is the son of former Zambia and Anderlecht star Charles Musonda, is aware of the interest he is attracting and has refused to rule out a move away from the Bridge.

"I’m also well aware of the news, nothing has been done yet," he said.

"I will reflect personally with my family and agent and come to a conclusion that hopefully benefits the continuity of my progression.

"I’m looking forward to playing football next year."

Poor man's Zelalem. Nah , I can remember Anderlecht directors going crazy about him at the age of 15. Johan Boskamp who is a former professional and coach of I think Standard de Liege at the time also claimed he had never seen someone as good in a youth team. Then Chelsea came and paid top dollar , even bought his two brothers to convince their family of coming to London. He's really , really small and skinny though...

↑ Very skinny and agile yeah. Not super short though - he's taller than Wilshere who is 5'8''.

His brother Lamisha is the short one, he's around 5'5''

Peculiar how their other brother, Tika is 6'2''

Probably the milkman's

zelalem is probably the most overrated youngster in world football. This is a kid who cant even be standout player in U18 games for Arsenal who has miles worst young team than Chelsea. This kid is shining in u21 football and is seen as hazard level of talent in belgium
