I saw an article where apparently we told Griezmmans, agent we were interested in him in 2017, we didn’t make our move so the agent contacted us again and we asked them to wait a bit longer as we’re very interested.

Come the end of the window nothing happened and we apparently tried to do the same a year later and Griezman said he wasn’t interested.

Makes me think we put our interest out there to make it look like we’re busy at times, just to keep the fans onboard when perhaps we have no intention of buying certain players.

I doubt we were serious about Ramos, the wages would be too high, plus why would a player like him come to a team with no CL football and no Europe, we must know this but it does look good to the fans when we’re interested in big players.
