Real Madrid expect Arsenal to come knocking for Benzema
Arsenal are ready to join the race for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
Despite insisting he is satisfied with the French forward, Real coach Jose Mourinho will approve his sale in January for the right price.
Madrid sources say Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to rescue his countryman from his Madrid hell.
Wenger has at least £20 million to spend in January and knows Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to cut his losses on Benzema.

Arsenal considering transfer of Real Madrid ace
A proven striker is wanted at the Emirates Stadium
Arsene Wenger is considering opening his cheque book in order to add to his striking options.
The Arsenal boss is reportedly keeping tabs on Karim Benzema's travails at Real Madrid and could swoop for his compatriot next summer.
Wenger is renowned for frugality in the transfer market but he has occasionally opted to splash the cash with his £17m purchase of Andrei Arshavin in January 2009 being the most recent example.
Benzema is likely to cost around £20m which, while still being a sizeable amount, would represent a £10m loss for the Spanish club following his big money move from Lyon last year.
With Robin van Persie's susceptibility to injury and both Nicklas Bendtner and Marouane Chamake lacking the clinical precision of a truly world class striker, a move for the France international could be good business for the Londoners.
