where do we play him? We cant go in the market only to stop Spurs. They need a play maker and we need a striker and a winger....buying another attacking central midfielder makes no sense

How so?
Walcott Eriksen Cazorla
The Ox . . . . . Rosicky . . . . . Podolski

or
Walcott Rosicky Cazorla
The Ox . . . . . Eriksen . . . . . Podolski

You're not gonna find another AM of his age and potential for €10m.

He's the worst Spurs signing imo and not very good. We have rosicky/cazorla and hell even ox and wilshere. We cant sign players for the sake of signing. He would not get into our starting 11

You watch the Eredivisie? He has been through a rough patch, not particularly by playing bad, not at all actually but he hasn't quite lived up to the hype that has been created around him by the media a few years ago. He's a very clever footballer who would be an instant improvement to our squad, it has nothing to do with signing someone for the sake of it. Besides Rosicky doesn't have the stamina level to play over 35 games per season, plus if Cazorla picks up an injury we're pretty much out of decent options at AM. I'd rather sign Eriksen for £7m and spend the extra money on a top class striker than pay £20m for a horribly overrated Grenier for instance or £15m for a player like Cabaye which we quite frankly don't even need. I personally rate Eriksen much higher than Chadli and that comes from watching them regularly.

It's better to not spend than to spend on something that doesnt suit your needs, wenger hsa probably messed up but panick buying wont solve this problem

Eriksen, Soldado & Paulinho and that is 3 of our problem positions sorted

Not particularly bothered we aren't interested, he's alright but not amazing, he wouldn't start for us. But he is better than Sigurdsson, so he improves them. Annoyingly. Let's be frank their squad is better than ours already

Lamela is the one that grates. Gervinho gone and AOC & Podolski injured, we could have really really done with him. Didn't even seem interested.

Yeah let's go in the season with a squad of what, 15-16 match-fit players and 2-3 players who shouldn't be anywhere near our squad. Who needs depth to play over 55 games/season anyway? Ffs at least 3 of our own players came out saying our squad is too thin. If Rosicky and Cazorla get injured we have literally no player who can fill in on that position accordingly. It's not a top priority but that doesn't mean it should be overlooked because it will come back to haunt us. Eriksen for £7m is a bargain. Especially considering the fact that you can't keep on relying on Rosicky, he's not going to be around forever let alone stay fit for a full season.

Paulinho would be good for our CM gap, we have 2 fit CM's ffs. Soldado is clearly better than Giroud and Lamela would have been perfect for us and he has all but gone to Spurs. Face it, we have missed out due to incompetence

Sorry mate thats fairly outrageous though saying Giroud is even in the same bracket as Soldado. Maybee he wont adjust to the premier league but the guy has been one of the best strikers in spain for years. Woudl be a guarenteed starter at Arsenal.

Seen spurs signed Lamela tonight, in personals with ajax danish midfield guy. interested in Hernandez.
Looks like Bale gone tomorow, its all gonna happen now. be patient. pretty sure the bale transfer will snowball everywhere.

He is not close to Cazorla and he is not better than rosicky. Eriksen is very good footballer, but you will see his lack of pace/athleticism be exposed in the PL. Look at Holtby and Sigurdson...they suffer the exact same problem

Rosicky was never a good athlete, neither was Fabregas and Eriksen isn't lacking pace by any means.

Yup me neither, is there anybody still available? We don't have one single transfer news that looks promising...
