Lionel Messi

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

It turned out to be that Bartomeu had lied to media saying that Messi renewed his contract.

Messis contract ends at end of this season (30.06.2018). Get on it Wenger, bring Messi home for free on next summer.

"[Barcelona] have been leaving Messi's renewal, our most important player, to the last minute," Benedito told Onda Cero and Radio MARCA. "And he still has not signed, it's worrisome. "The case of Messi may be worse than that of Neymar because, right now, as of January 1, he is free.

It's Marca and ex-Barca board member, so apply with caution.

But holy shit if this is true. Bring him in, bring him in.. :hiding:

Arsene would happily give Chamberlain 180k per week but would probably balk at giving Messi 350k a week.

Wenger will bench Messi for Welbeck to show him Arsenal's depth and warn Messi about tough competition for places at Arsenal. :arse flag.gif:

Hearing from my sources Wenger selling everyone in a last ditch attempt to convince the board to offer messi the first every £1M a week contract...

Just trigger his release clause. Don't need anyone else.

We'd all of a sudden become the most sensational and talked about club in world football. Pep will lose more hair and Jose will start slating Woodward publicly.
