Well that's fine but all over his bio's it states his position as CB.

But it would be weird if we were going all out for a CB because with Saliba coming back, White, Gabi and Holding ......... a CB is not what we need, its a LB.

As long as Martinez is happy making LB his main role then I'm happy.

Lisandro Martinez is 5'9, he wins 3.7 aerial duels p/90 (5.3 attempted) at a success rate of 69.8%.

Pau Torres is 6'3, he wins 1.8 aerial duels p/90 (3.1 attempted) at a success rate of 58.1%.

Just because he's short doesn't mean he's bad in the air.

That’s pretty short for a CB, I think height is an important attribute for a CB, the Dutch league is very different to the PL.

At his height he can only realistically be a fill in as a CB when we’re short.

I remember Vermaelen was not that tall and it never really worked very well.

I guess he’s versatile so will feature at LB and in CM perhaps rather that being at CB most of the time.
