Aurelien Tchouameni

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Aurelien Tchouameni

Football.london reports that Arsenal are making the addition of another central midfielder a top priority for the summer transfer window.

Leicester star Youri Tielemans figures prominently on their wish list, but highly-rated France international Aurelien Tchouameni – who is currently at Monaco – is another player in the Gunners’ sights.

Seen he's being linked with some big clubs. Never heard of him. Any good?

I was under the impression that the deal taking him to Liverpool was already done and dusted. In terms of comparisons, I'd say similar in many ways to Eduardo Camavinga and Boubacar Kamara, or alternatively, imagine a 6 foot tall N'golo Kante at defensive midfield, or as a further alternative, Thomas Partey as is but aged 21.

In relation to the article, if the recruitment choice was between Tielemans and Tchouameni... the Monaco man hands down.

He's this window's Camavinga. We won't get him.

Its already been said we are after a number 8, not another 6 as we have multiple 6's already, we need Tielemans to upgrade Xhaka much more than this kid potentially upgrading Partey.

...Unless we are selling Partey.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are all keen on Tchouameni and will be ready to step in if his transfer to Madrid does not materialise. (Sun)

Arsenal are keen on Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni to improve their squad in the summer, with Liverpool also said to be interested in the 23-year-old Frenchman. (El Nacional - in Catalan)

Who knows?
Any footballer in the world would want to play for Arsenal, especially with Arteta as manager and the whole atmosphere around the club.

Would be an excellent heir to Partey but seems extremely unlikely

Looked like a monster for France at the World Cup, scored a long range banger against England.

Being linked to Tchouaméni, as RM look to offload players to bring Mbappe in

Not sure how we can afford him after the window so far? Not complaining if we can!

yeah I don't see us going in for him, we would have signed Maddison if we wanted another CM.

We need to keep some funds in reserve for Jan, so I can see us targeting other positions.

We will still make sales

Not sure if the relationship still exists, but signing surplus to requirements midfielders from Real is a VERY Arsenal signing.

Personally I was hoping we might get Camavinga but it seems he signed a new contract.

We'll probably have tons of competition for this though, unlike with Ozil and Ode. My bet is he ends up at City
