He hadn't played for Argentina yet. I bought him for Arsenal where he excelled but wasn't chosen for Argentina for whatever reason. Prob cos I kept withdrawing him from friendlies. Stayed in England for 5 years, became eligible for England and I became England manager

Banega is a very good player. But I want golovin hes the missing piece in the mid and will give us multiple midfields that can compete with others

Not a DM although he has played there before and is capable of playing as one.

He's a playmaker. Very good on the ball and an excellent passer.

You'll probably not like him though as he's one of those technical CMs.

Personally, I'd be glad if we got him. He's 29. The only downside.
