Without even bothering to look up any stats I can confidently say that title winning teams usually have a few grannies knocking about in them
Average age of title winners vs average age of the league overall would be interesting to see. I bet the league winners more often than not have a higher than average squad age

Our average age in 97/98 was 28.1 the highest in the league
In 01/02 it was 27
In 03/04 it was 27.2

Arsenal are interested in signing Ever Banega, according to the Sun.
The midfielder previously worked with manager Unai Emery at Sevilla and has a £18 million ($24m) buy-out clause in his current deal.
Emery sees Banega as a way to boost midfield competition as he looks to mold the Gunners in his first year in charge.
