He still has injury issues?

He played over 2000 Bundesliga minutes this season and doesn't look like he was out for injury at any point :dontknow:

He can change a game with his forward runs. But again, we don’t play his style of football. He’s better off going to Liverpool.

Same was true of Partey before he joined us.

With Gnabry we already know he had a history of injuries in England. And like Partey, he won't come to a non-CL team without a hefty paycheque.

I also just don't see him acclimating to Arteta's style at all. Gabriel J, Eddie and Martinelli are who I expect will lead the line next season.

Wouldn't be concerned about lack of game time for any of them.

Play 3 up front like Liverpool ........ issue solved.

This. No more wingers or "false 9" types. Just a good old fashioned striker who is fast and finishes well. None of this "hold up play" crap either, we need a CF capable of popping up in the right place scoring 15 league goals minimum.

I want someone who can play with their back to goal though. Someone with an aerial threat so when we're forced out wide we can whip crosses in to him and attacks don't just peter out.

The two teams that dominated this season did so with false 9s.

But yea, said in another thread that we should have a proper CF for a plan B at least. Plus, Pep and Klopp are both investing in CFs for next season.

Taking back players we were not good enough to train to the ability to play in the league we play in.
And now expect them to perform in a league that did not look like it suited them.
Good luck

Bayern offered him well over €200k PW after tax. If he's saying no to that, what will we have to pay?
