Lucas Paquetá

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

We put so many smokescreens out there nowadays to distract from actual targets I don't know what's real and not anymore.

Anyways I trust the manager + board to get it right so if they decide to go for this guy, then great.

Can’t see us going for another AM, think this is a bluff.

Hes not even on Odegaards level tbh, even Pepe wrecked that farmer league and looked like the best winger in Europe.

Absolutely. Why should we buy two AM to compete with Odergaard and Smith Rowe when we only have Partey as out only established CM/DM? Even counting Xhaka, we still need more quality there.

Is there a chance we are looking at him as a inverted wing playmaker? i can't see him in a b2b to role because hes undersized and has no defensive game, unless things have changed? i watched him a bit when he went to Milan and then went to Lyon.

Plays left CM for Brazil apparently so may be Partey's partner.

Also after Emery decimated any creativity in this team I won't say no to creative players at this stage.

Emery's season: 73 PL goals

Arteta's best ever season: 61 PL goals

It's truly reprehensible what Arteta did to Ozil, Auba and other goal creators.

Emery got rid of our technical players and wanted to turn us into a bunch of pragmatic dogs.

Yeah i thought this, his lack of strength worries me though, we are better off getting Tielemans who is bigger and stronger.

We're stalling on Tieleman for a reason. Maybe this is why..?

I just can’t see this happening, Lyon play hardball when it comes to players so the fee would be very higher, not convinced we need a player like him either, Tielemans would be much more suitable.

We’re just not going to pay the 68 million Lyon want or indeed anywhere near it.

Don’t see how this works at all unless something ridiculous is happening that I can’t comprehend.
