He's more than a pure DM who sits. He is a defensive oriented player who gets involved and gets up. He plays with another CM who shares the defending with him. So I think he would struggle more in our team playing next to someone like Wilshere. In fact any midfielder would struggle with Wilshere as his defensive game is seriously lacking

Probably. Wilshere just cant curb his attacking instinct. The amount of times you see him waving someone to fill a gap he should be in is frustrating. Then again, if at least 1 of the 2 CMs has the discipline to sit and go through with it, it could work.

f**k it now anyway. Matuidi will probably cost loads with a fresh contract. May as well look at anyone else that can play there now.

im not saying he's bad but we already have a better box to box in ramsey. Matuidi isnt a dm

Yes he is, he's a defensive box to box like Fernandinho. Not comparable to Ramsey. He's a brilliant player IMO, one of PSGs best players in the last couple of seasons.

matuidi is alot more offensive than fernandinho though he reminds me more of diaby, he's a good player but as i said i would prefer someone who sat deeper and started attacks by using quick incisive passes rather than dribbling. Wilshere and ozil are both capable of the latter we need someone who defends very well and reads the game very well to stop teams from countering us.

Getting the balance right in our new DM is vital. Too bad we let someone in the perfect mould go to Chelsea for £21m

I've been screaming since last summer; Matuidi, Pogba, and Vidal aren't players within our reach. Khedira is.

Yeah I'd prefer a DLP than a defensive B2B, we'd be left more open with the latter.

Lars Bender should be our number one target for that position.

this x100. Lars Bender is such a beast. Good luck getting through a Bender & Ramsey partnership. They both have an engine that never quits

I just want Germans.

Draxler - Ozil - Walcott
Bender - Ramsey

I'd rather have Chambo on the left than spending 30/40m on Draxler.

I agree. Same goes for right as well for me, no Di Maria or someone else over Walcott and hopefully Gnabry.
