Don't see the comparison, other than size. This guy's got some trekkers. Very tricky feet for a relatively tall player.

Both deadly in the air and can pull off the spectacular, Giroud was probably stronger and played with his back to goal/hold up play for Sanchez etc and this guy is better when running at players, quite tricky, there is similarity's though.

Would say that Scamacca is more mobile though... remember those galloping runs off the ball from Giroud? always used to take my attention from the ball, he looked so awkward. Deceptively good though, a very solid player in the end, with the right tactics of course.

There's plenty of time for Scamacca to get strong too. He's my preference of all the CFs we've been linked to.

Yeah i think he is, but then also hes playing in that shitty slow serie A, they don't press you into mistakes like the relentless pressing of the premier league, i think we'll see in person, hes a good alternative to the overpriced Abraham, i think we have been crying out for a target man for a long time, he looks like he takes no shit also.

I was thinking at first would be good to switch Gabi & Saka and let them cross but when Tierney's fit we always have the overlaps on the left (sometimes on the right with Tomi lol)

Liked the look of this guy but not gonna pretend had even heard of him before the rumours. Let’s hope he flops hard because right now looks like a very good deal for West Ham.
