Don't see the comparison, other than size. This guy's got some trekkers. Very tricky feet for a relatively tall player.

His goal record isn’t exactly amazing, 16 goals in 36 games and he had 8 in 26 the previous season and 9 in 33 in serie B the season before that.

Played 5 times for Italy without a goal too.

I'll take him even if he is the new Giroud. We like to cross and we are very good at set pieces. He's quite expensive though.

He's the right age, appears to have the right work rate and mentality and is 6'5 and covered in tattoos. Sounds perfect!

55 million for a player with his record is way too much.

Can’t stop thinking how much of a steal Haaland was at 51 million.

One of the richest clubs around getting one of the most in demand players for a bargain, meanwhile it seems we have to overpay massively for players with a fraction of the talent.

I remember when they signed Aguero at 34 million, I thought they’d got a real bargain as he had years ahead of him, it’s the same with Haaland, if he works out they’ll have a goalscorer for the next 10 years.

I'd take him over Gabriel J. We need a big man in the box to latch on to aerial crosses and the two seem pretty evenly matched when it comes to goals, which is not saying much.

Both deadly in the air and can pull off the spectacular, Giroud was probably stronger and played with his back to goal/hold up play for Sanchez etc and this guy is better when running at players, quite tricky, there is similarity's though.
