Juventus and Barcelona make formal approaches to Arsenal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang | @SamJDean and @MattLaw_DT report

Arsenal offered Alvaro Morata
Arsenal have reportedly been offered the chance to sign former Chelsea flop Alvaro Morata as they attempt to bring in a striker ahead of Monday's transfer deadline.

The Gunners' frontline looks extremely light ahead of the end of the window, with Eddie Nketiah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang linked with exits.

Now, according to The Times, they have been offered the opportunity to bring in Morata

I suppose you have all heard the recent news of Barcelona as well as Juventus being interested loaning Auba! Juventus want to some how parm Morata our way which i hope is just paper talk. Morata being a garbage Chelsea reject and constantly offside and being passed around clubs like a bicycle.

Hope we stay out of this one. Morata is a quality player when he wakes up on the right side of the bed. Unfortunately consistency is what counts at the top end of the league.
He should sign for Palace or Everton. He'd do well there
Invincibility lies in the defence; the possibility of victory in the attack.

This guy is nothing like what we need for our lone CF role.

He's light weight and a skill player, he'd be no improvement of Lacazette and has been mentioned above, he's very hot and cold.

In our system it would be a lot more cold.

Arsenal are interested in Spain striker Alvaro Morata, 29, with Atletico Madrid ready to sell. The Gunners could face competition from Juventus, where Morata is on loan from the La Liga side. (Tuttomercato - in Italian)

Happy for Juve to make it a hattrick on this one. Locatelli, Vlahovic and now this guy.

Alvaro Morata has suggested he would be happy to look for another chance in the Premier League with Arsenal amid speculation over his Juventus future, months on from a near-exit to Barcelona.

The Spaniard has been linked as a major transfer target for the Gunners this summer, two years on from an exit from Chelsea after struggling to leave his mark at Stamford Bridge.

The forward however, who has since played with Atletico Madrid and the Bianconeri, has not played down the possibility of a return to English shores.
