Arsenal are "willing to offer €30m" for striker Alvaro Morata this summer, according to Tutto Juve.

The striker has been identified as a potential attacking reinforcement for the Gunners, who are set to lose Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah this summer.

Morata is currently on loan at Juventus from Atletico Madrid, and the Turin club are also keen on the 29-year-old.

Chelsea managing to finesse Atletico into paying £50m twice for Morata and Diego Costa should go down as some sort of record.

Please no, one of the most overrated strikers I’ve ever seen, fails time and time again and still gets a big move.

His finishing is dreadful.

Arsenal are keeping an eye on Alvaro Morata's situation. The Spain striker, 29, has spent the season on loan at Juventus from Atletico Madrid. (Tuttosport - in Italian)

Morata is the striker version of Arteta. I'd take Eddie leading the line any day over this fraud.

Really does feel like alexafc has been writing the headlines this week. The problem is, normally I realise it's his post and laugh at everyone falling for it.

Unfortunately I scroll up and it's a proper source. Genuinely thought we were getting a top striker this summer, then we're rumoured to be renewing Nketiah and signing Morata.

Somebody somewhere is taking the piss.

This has to be BS. I guess Nketiah will start if we're serious about signing Morata.

The jesus rumours still persist, otherwise Eddie will be number 1 striker by end of Sept!

I don't want him, but the Jesus rumours at least make sense as he's a City player with PL experience. I can sort of see how we could use his skills.

Morata OTOH is a massive flop player that never found a home at any of the top clubs that he's bounced around in. He has signficant confidence problems in front of goal both at club and NT level.

I'm pretty sure Morata recently said himself that he doesn't want to play in the prem again, if so thank god i dont want anymore ex chelsea scummers stinking the place up.

Signing Morata would be no better than keeping Lacazette and cause a new issue.
