Arsenal’s hunt for another striker has seen them join Leeds in the battle for Espanyol star Raul De Tomas, claims AS.

West Ham and Leicester are also said to be keen on a Spain international that hit 23 goals last season, 11 this term and has a €70 million (£59m/$79m) release clause in his contract.

If Arsenal are able to move Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on, with Barcelona still keen, then they will look to land Raul de Tomas as his replacement.

That is according to AS, who claim the Espanyol striker will be the subject of a big-money bid once the Gunners step up their efforts to get another frontman on board.

Second highest scorer in Lila liga and players like wolves Jimenez. According to some Spanish dudes online, this would actually suit us better than usual but espanyol would be daft to let him go this season as he's basically carrying them. Interesting one.

Watch this guy recently. He'd do a job for us I think. He'd be a good striker to have a long side an £80m striker we buy in the summer when Laca, Eddie and Auba all leave.

He seems fairly similar to Laca to be honest

No idea who he is, quick you tube search and he seems pretty good.

The only problem i see is that he’s a very selfish players, in a lot of the clips he would have been better of the passing the ball, try to play like that here and Arteta will give him the same treatment he’s given to Ozil/Auba. Then we are back to square one and millions wasted again.

That’s a lot of money for someone that’s 28 this year and can’t get in the national team ahead of dross like Morata, we are better of signing Isak at least he’d be a better investment due to age and resale value

We still have Laca. We should have got that tall bloke Burnley have just signed. Talksport say he's a 1 in 2 striker with great hold up play.
