Exactly right Billie - there is no likely upside to Zinchenko, there is a massive potential upside to Spence. A top attacking fullback is worth upwards of 80m, back up defenders who never cross the halfway line, they are are worth 25m.

I have no issue with signing Zinchenko for 25m, great back-up who can cover several positions, what will worry me is if Arteta sees him as a starter. If he becomes a starting fullback that's an XG of ZERO goals from one side of the pitch ... will you be happy with that?
