Yeah agreed, don’t think Lokonga is ready, started well but his form has failed off a bit, needs some loan time to learn a bit I think.

with Partey and Elneny off to AFCON and AMN off to Roma, would be silly to loan out Sambi.

Arsenal favourite Ian Wright has urged the Gunners to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.

"I saw Wijnaldum’s name [linked with Arsenal]. That would be amazing. A loan signing from PSG," the former striker affirmed on the Kelly and Wrighty Show.

"Someone like that in the midfield. Of that experience. He is a Premier League winner. Just to help with the youngsters and a Sambi Lokonga just to keep it going.

"Then, they can add to the squad and, all of a sudden, Arsenal can start challenging and challenging seriously."

When did his form tail off???
Last time he played a 9 min spell against Southampton in a 3-0 win.
Prior to that he started and was excellent in the 2-0 win vs Newcastle.
Xhaka came back and then Lokonga got Covid.
Not actually played since, so I wonder which fantasy world you are living in?

Loaning out a midfielder when we lost 2 to the ACON and one to Roma is a silly idea, especially since Lakonga has played well.

tbf i made the comments before we loaned out AMN now we have to keep lokonga but initially i would of kept AMN esp cause he covers 2 positions but now that he is gone we gotta keep Lokonga and also get gini in on loan would be very shrewd signing his experience alone is worth it even if hes lost a step

Arsenal are, according to Fichajes, preparing to step up their interest in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.

The Netherlands international has failed to make the expected impact in France following a 2021 switch from Liverpool and could head back to the Premier League in a €20 million (£17m/$23m) deal.

Not very exciting if true. I know he did OK for Liverpool but there was a reason they got rid of him.
