Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

You'd think so but it's been a priority for years and we got Jesus and havertz lol

It’s sad that Villa have a better strike force

23/24 Villa goals 76, Arsenal goals 91
24/25 so far Villa goals 12, Arsenal goals 15

If only we scored as many as Villa. :dontknow:

Arsenal have drawn up a shortlist of world-class striker targets and Newcastle and Sweden striker Alexander Isak, 25, is top of the list. (TeamTalk)

Arsenal have identified Newcastle forward Alexander Isak, 25, as their top transfer target, although the Magpies would demand a fee of about £100m for the Sweden international. (Teamtalk)

So pathetic that it takes him scoring against us for Arteta/recruitment team to consider him. That is if these rumors are true. What kind of archaic caveman scouting strategy is that?

We had this conversation six months ago and he was £200m then....so he's halved in priced has he?

Don't think so somehow.....but if he's the only class CF out there thats available, he's going to cost more than anyone wants to pay, but its a massive gamble to pay say £175m.

Likely because of the contract situation.

The interest is nothing to do with him scoring against us, but does reinforce the fact that we need a player like him who can take half chances.....if we want to win something big.

He would be great here.

If we're building up slowly hogging possession he has the aerial ability for the cross we'll undoubtedly settle for, if we're breaking he's quick enough to make a run.

He would be perfect for what we need.

Arsenal have made Newcastle and Sweden striker Alexander Isak, 25, their top attacking target, while the Magpies will consider Everton and England's Dominic Calvert-Lewin, 27, and Lille and Canada's Jonathan David, 24, as replacements. (TeamTalk)

More smoke and mirrors he is not going anywhere.
Not even any talk of a buy out clause.
Sick of this clubs bull shit
If they were serious about a striker they would be hitting Gyokeres buy out clause of 85m

Chelsea have joined Arsenal in the race for Alexander Isak - but Newcastle United will demand at least £115m for their 25-year-old Swedish striker. (Teamtalk)

I think if the club was going to spend 100M+ on Isak they’d have done it already

They should activate Gyokeres transfer clause, Isak is not coming here if there is any type bidding war
