Joins Palace lol

If he does well he'll get a move to a big club ala VVD.

But understandable no big club went near him whilst at celtic.

He was Palace's second choice behind Eddie Nketiah. Hard to imagine he'll do well, but under Vieira who knows?

Oh sod it, I might as well make it a triumvirate given my Celtic connection and consideration of Édouard as an upgrade upon Lacazette.

I think I've probably banged on enough about the myopathy clearly ravaging Wenger's previously legendary ability to spot talent, in having had Virgil van Djyk in his direct line of sight for nearly a year.

But it is probably my indignation at the ignorance of those who continue to trot out a lazy and unimaginative sheep like mentality, in voicing that even the likes of Douglas Bader and Stewie Griffin would score a shed load playing in Scotland, and as such all indications of talent should be ignored, dismissed and viewed with suspicion, like a black man in a Miami gated community.

So, even though it won't be for us unfortunately, I still want the lad to do well for Palace so that when in a couple or three years or so in being bought by Chelsea for an astronomical fee to replace Lukaku, those reasons for as to why the Scottish Premiership should be treated like a leper colony can again be weighed, measured and found wanting of substance.

https://france3-regions.francetvinfo.fr ... 80388.html

Odsonne Édouard has finally paid damages of €24K to the 50-year-old Toulouse resident who lost his hearing in his left ear after Édouard shot him with an airsoft gun in 2017. After the involvement of the mayor of Toulouse and much media pressure, Crystal Palace reportedly told Édouard to pay up.

He drove around the city looking for a victim, according to his lawyers 'because he felt frustrated'. He found a passerby, lowerd his car window like he was asking for directions, waited for him to approach and shot him in the head with an air rifle. The victim fell on the ground bleeding and scrambled to get away panicking.

Edouard who was playing for Toulouse on loan from PSG was found guilty of 'violence with a weapon' and sentenced to 4 month probation. He initially also had to pay 5k in damages but refused despite pressure and advice from his legal team. In April this year he was convicted by the Chamber of Civil Interests for the increased sum of almost 24k euro for care and compensation for loss of quality of life of the victim.

Edouard who was playing at Celtic by that time still refused to show up in court and pay the compensation, forcing the victim who wanted to deal with the matter in private to go public.

I'm a little bit surprised that this hasn't been made common knowledge much, much sooner.

In that for two years or so I had championed the signing of this fella along with that of Yves Bissouma, I think I might just refrain from making any more player recommendations for recruitment for a while.
