If snow moving at snails pace as we do often do with transfers is working against us again.

It's way too early to tell whether or not we've been aggressive enough in the current transfer window.

So far, globally, just 1 player has moved for a fee north of £15m and only 4 players have moved for fees in excess of £10m.

What ?

- Hakimi - PSG €60m
- Rodrigo de Paul - Atleti €35m
- Patson Daka - LCFC £22m
- Boubakary Soumare - LCFC £17m
- Buendia- Villa £33m

How did all these happen then?

Just remembered Konaté and Tomori as well. Nvm. :hiding: :Peace:

Yeah, no problem, Euro coverage has quieted transfer talk, usually it'd fill up the news pages for days.

According to transfermarkt.com, 11 players have moved for fees north of £20m.

Still a more 'modest' window compared to usual, but not as extreme as I initially thought.

Here's the top 20 so far -

White = deals for less than estimated market value
Green = deals for more than estimated market value

If the fee they currently want is true don’t understand why we are sitting around doing nothing, just typical Arsenal really

We’ve seen it before players like Kante, Higuain, Fabregas etc available for affordable prices, as usual we chose not to buy them in favour of buying/keeping inferior players Giroud and Xhaka, Ramsey

This time it looks like Arteta is going to stick with Willock, which is stupid considering Newcastle would give us the money we need to buy Aouar from Willocks transfer fee alone

Houssem Aouar - Arsenal will go on a £100m spending spree with the Lyon midfielder set to join White in signing for the club next week (Daily Star, July 18).

I think we will get him, i seen people also saying that we want Aouar for the left of midfield and Maddison as the right side a bit further up staggered with Partey the pivot, i can't see it personally because we are as tight as arseholes, but i'd love it if we got both, i do think with Aouar AND Maddison our midfield would be a bit light weight.

Aouar and Maddison would make me much more hopeful for the season.

Even if this club is stupid enough to sell ESR to villa, we aren’t getting both lol

Has anyone actually taken a look at how Aouar played last season?

With ESR renewing, this deal is dead.
