We have Martinelli who's already class, and Balogun could be great as well. It comes down to whether our tactical setup leads to goals or not. I'm inclined to say not, as Emery had a worse squad and managed 20 more goals over the same number of games.

It also comes down to if Arteta will play Martinelli.

Man Tammy isn't bad we could do alot worse snd he will add guruntee goals and Ariel threat something we lack and would benefit immensely from because we do a lot of crosses at head height. I'd prefer DCL but those talks seem to have gone quite

Let's be real, 3rd or 4th choice for Chelsea but an upgrade on both Laca and Auba. Sad but true.

Not yet.

Apparently Arsenal met his agent today and have agreed personal terms.

Didnt think we would sign a striker. He is PL proven, has upside, reliable scorer and different type of striker than what we have.

Chelsea have accepted a £34m bid from Roma for England striker Tammy Abraham, 23, that includes a buy-back clause. (Goal)

Roma manager Jose Mourinho will speak with Abraham on Thursday to try to convince him to join the Serie A club. (Mirror)

However, Arsenal will offer their France striker Alexandre Lacazette, 30, to Roma in order to pave the way for Abraham to move to the Gunners. (Calciomercato - in Italian)

I don't really see why this is becoming a thing.

We shouldn't be having to go hell for leather for Tammy Abraham, if it was an easy deal sure, but if we have to off load Laca first .......... Mourhino wants an answer on Tammy now but Tammy is trying to hold it off until we make a decision.

Its a good idea to offer Roma Laca but I don't think Mourhino would accept that, he'll feel he's been duped.

I think its harsh but no one wants Lacazette.

Tammy wants to join us, but we don't want to pay £34m.

That would be a crazy price for a striker who's only had one season as a starter. Just because we crossed that bridge with Ben White doesn't mean we should do it again.

Laca had more goals last season than when Tammy was a starter under Lampard. Paying Laca's final £9m in wages is better than £34m + £5m/yr wages for Tammy for the next 5 years.
