Under a normal manager, Arsenal falling out of Top 6 would be considered a temporary setback. It's happened to Liverpool, Chelsea and Utd more often than it has to us in the past few years.

Varane would provide a higher level of defensive leadership than what we had with Luiz and Emi Martinez. Leadership is the only CB gap that needs filling, and we won't get that with Ben White.
