What makes you think Willian a career winger is coming here to play centrally when it also looks like we're getting Coutinho?

Seems to me Willian is going to start instead of Saka, while Saka develops his game a bit more because for me Saka is not 1st team worthy, not as a starter anyway.

i like the player and think it'd be a nice add

If emery was still our manager I’d be confident this signing would happened he was a big fan but palace were demanding too much at the time.

I’d say 25M+ Nelson on a 2 year loan would be a fair deal in the current market maybe even throw in some trophy based add ons

With Willian arriving, we are set when it comes to wide players. Spending even a penny more would be irresponsible when CM, CB, DM and CAM spots remain threadbare.

We’ll sign him eventually, but not till he’s 32 and on a free transfer

I can't believe there is anything in this story.

Why would we want Zaha?

If this is the level of ambition of the club under Arteta/Edu, then there really is no hope.

Pepe, Willian and Nelson are not good enough out wide, and they all play on the right side of the pitch anyway. Zaha plays on the left, where we have Tierney and Aubameyang. I can see Zaha creating many more chances than what Auba does out wide.

Or maybe the plan is to send Martinelli on loan next season.
