Lol despite cesc having more assists in far less minutes.

And how many goals? I swear people never happy. You ask for goals he ups his count but what about the assists? Maddening...

5... In the league.
5 goals and 4 assists after 22 games... Hasn't exactly set the world alight, has he? Especially not that good for an attacking midfielder who offers nothing defensively. Sanchez has 15 goals AND has 3 more assists then Ozil.

I personally have higher standards for him because i consider him on par with Sanchez if not better. He shouldn't have a lower goals+assists total than Walcott and Giroud. Needs to bump it to 8-10 goals and 13-16 assists after 38.

I didn't say he was up to his own standards, he was being compared to Cesc. He carried us last season yet people already forget. 0 good will left for someone we have vs apparently loads for a player who left.

This isn't something to be proud of. Cesc doesn't start games because he doesn't fulfill the requirements of a CM at Chelsea. The case was similar at Barca. We'd benefit from him because we have mediocre CMs, yet Chelsea have better CMs suited to the style they play.

Cesc playing fewer games is not because of injuries - it's because he's not good enough for Chelsea.

It's not because he isn't good enough, he just doesn't fit Conte's system. If Cazorla played for Chelsea he wouldn't start either.

Except for that fact that the entire system was designed to accommodate 3 defensively weak players at once

Ozil walks into Chelsea's team next to hazard and Costa up front

yeah but those three are talented enough and Costa and Pedro are sound defensively, it's just Hazard but he's an exceptional player unlike someone.

Conte would drool at the chance of playing Ozil with Costa up front and Hazard on the wing.

He has seen the damage Ozil has done to his national and club side.

Costa is already lethal and would go to another level with Ozil feeding him.

Conte would also push Ozil. I think Wenger does not push Ozil as much.

Cesc isnt good enough for Conte's system. Just like he wasn't at Barca - a system tailor made for players like Ozil. That's what I meant.

Ozil would start for any club in the world - Barca, Bayern, City, or United. I'm pretty sure he'd start in Conte's side too.

Why would he def start for Chelsea, willian and Pedro might not be as good but they offer better dribbling, pace, movement and better defensive attributes.

Attributes which suit the pl to, I don't see how there is any certainty ozil would start, he would really have to earn it.

Ozil wouldn't start for Chelsea. Stop this nonsense.

Conte loves his wing backs, fast, creative wingers and midfielders that graft.

Ozil isn't any of the above, just like Cesc isn't.
